What is the SA Times Wine Club?
The purpose of the Club is to provide members with a regular supply of selected South African wines suitable for the season or occasion. It is the intention to provide members with a selection including wines from the famous and well established brands as well as new wines from existing suppliers and new wineries.
How does it work?
The Club will deliver to members five cases (of 12 bottles)
of wine every year – Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter - Christmas.
Members will be advised of the selection at least 6 weeks in
advance of the proposed shipping date. If members want to
receive the selection they need to do no more – the wines
will arrive in due course and your card will be charged on
the day of despatch.
In the event of the member not wanting to receive the wine
selection, they must advise the Club at least 10 working
days in advance of the proposed date of shipment. No further
action is required.
Membership is FREE and there is no obligation to receive any
selection – membership can be cancelled at any time. All
information relating to a member will be kept on a secure
facility and will not be shared with any other parties.
Why should I join?
In addition to the opportunity of tasting new and exciting
wines in advance of them being available on the SA Wines
Online website, members will be allowed to buy further
supplies of selected wines (subject to availability) at a 5%
discount to the normal Internet selling price.
Members will be given priority for attending events
organised by the Club and by SA Wines Online – tasting’s,
dinners and “meet the winemaker” events etc.
Members will be given priority for purchasing wines which
are in limited supply, as a large number of the best South
African wines are subject to “Allocation” and are only
available in very small quantities.
