Succulent, pitch blackberry colour and smokey oak aromas combine with spicy berry fruits to create an extremely lifted and captivating nose. Strong yet well disguised tannins give a complex structure and a long lingering finish.
• Lindhorst Shiraz 2004
Spicy, classic notes on the nose, combined with ripe blackcurrant and plumy fruit is followed by hints of white pepper
• Catherine Marshall Pinot Noir 2006
Fresh mouth filling cherry and red berry fruit supported by supple, savoury and mineral oak tannins.

The palate is medium bodied with fine, silky and almost sweet tannins and flavours of chocolate, ink, earth, smoked meat and minerals.

Predominantly a Bordeaux blend with a touch of Shiraz. Initially needed time but is drinking beautifully now and will continue to age gracefully.
